DERWENT VIEW GLAMPING AND CAMPING

 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DERWENT VIEW has 11 touring pitches divided between grass and hard standing.  we do not take group bookings (more than motorhomes, campers or caravans) If you book separate but knowingly know each other your booking will be cancelled with no refunds being given.Only the names and number of people booked at time of booking are permitted, Day guests may be allowed at managers discretion, there will be a charge of £5 per visitor. Under no circumstances must visitors arrive without management being inform beforehand. they must park cars in the main car park and pay the daily rate of £5 all visitors must leave by 6pm. 

ARRIVALS 12 noon for caravans and motorhomes,  up to 6pm please inform us if you are going to be any later than 6pm.

DEPARTURES - 10.30am prompt on final day of booking

BOOKINGS - Must be paid in full at time of booking, No under 21's will be allowed unless agreed by owners. no Hen and stag parties, or all Male or female parties. ( please phone site if you wish to discuss a booking for any of these) 

PETS - we allow 2 dogs per booking acceptable breeds only, (please phone site it you not sure) 

please check tariff for dogs on the booking form. You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. i

CANCELLATIONS - if booking is less than 28 days no refunds will be issued, we may be able to offer you an alternative date, but this is at the owners discretion, strictly no refunds will be given if guests decides to leave early for any reason, this also applies to weather conditions, unfortunately we have no control over the weather therefore if you decide to cancel your booking, then this will be your choice. please take out holiday insurance to cover unforeseeable events. if more than 28 days a refund of 50% of the total cost will be refunded.

FIRE PITS - fire pits or anything resembling an open fire are not allowed anywhere on the site, if you do have one you will be asked to leave with no refunds given.

SPEED - Please keep your speed to a maximum of 5mph whilst on site, as we have children and ducks wandering around.

No branded or transit vans allowed onsite(please phone site if unsure)

NOISE - We are a low noise policy site, all noise must be kept to a minimum, please have consideration for other guests, especially after 10.30pm. Music must be at a reasonable volume, at all times and turned off by 10.00pm, Our site is a family site so please ensure your behavior is appropriate and is not noisy, offensive or likely to cause any harm or upset to other guests, staff or property on the site. If we feel your behavior is illegal, offensive, disruptive or inappropriate we will ask you to leave the site. In these circumstances no refund will be given.If you are looking for a party site then this is not for you.

RUBBISH - All rubbish, must be put in the bins provided.

SHOWER BLOCK - We take a lot of pride in our shower block, we ask that guests respect this, and clean up after themselves. all children must be with an adult while using the shower block. 

SAFETY - We want everyone to stay safe while here at Derwent View, therefore please be aware, where your children are at all times, no climbing on stones walls and adhere to all signs around the site. we do not allow ball games of any sort in the pod area, please ask staff if you would like advice on where you can play.

The Owners of the site are no way responsible for any accidents, loss or damage to guests personal property.

The Owners reserve the right to ask guests to leave with immediate effect if not abiding by the site rules

Guests with disabilities are welcome at all our site. If you or someone in your party has special needs tell us about this before you make a booking so we can try to ensure the accommodation is suitable for you. If you don’t tell us we can’t be responsible if the accommodation is not suitable. If you do have special requirements please let us know. We will try to accommodate these but can’t guarantee this. We do not tolerate any kind of drug use, if you decide to do this you will be asked to leave the site.

Very occasionally, in exceptional circumstances, we may have to cancel your booking. If we do so we will tell you as soon as possible and you can choose either to have a full refund, or accept any alternative arrangements offered to you, or book another holiday with us. If we have to cancel because of circumstances beyond our control (e.g. fire, theft or flood) we will pay a full refund. If we cancel we will have no further liability to you for this.
